Use the Apartment Gate Key to open up the gate of the Wood Side Apartments. There are two doors, one in front of you and one to the right. Enter the door straight ahead.
Inside is a Map of the Apt Bldg, a Health Drink and a Save Square.
The Map is the most important. Red Squiggle lines means you can never open the door. A solid red line means there's a way to unlock the door. James will also mark important areas on the map. Here are the complete maps of all three floors:
Head up the stairs and enter the Second Floor.
Second Floor[edit]
Immediately to your right is a laundry room -- there won't be a door into the room. If you look into the trash chute, you will notice a bag of trash that is stuck. You can't do anything right now, but the map will be marked for later.
There may be a Straight Jacket or two in the halls. Always be prepared to fight or run!
Apartment 205[edit]
The first apartment you should enter is 205. It will contain a most invaluable item: the Flashlight. After picking it up a Mannequin monster will attack you. Kill it or just run away.
Apartment 210[edit]
210 has a Straight Jacket and Mannequin inside, so be prepared for a fight. Also inside is a box of Handgun Bullets in the living area on the coffee table, and in the northern room on a nightstand.
Apartment 208[edit]
208 has a Clock Puzzle inside, but you can't solve it just yet.
There's nothing else to do on Floor two for now, so on to floor 3.
Third Floor[edit]
Head up to the third floor and you'll find a gate directly to the right. On the other side of the gate is a key on the floor. Investigate the gate and the game will ask if you want to pick it up. Say yes to activate a short cut scene.
Apartment 301[edit]
Inside 301, you can find a Handgun in a red shopping cart. Grab it, but remember to conserve your ammo throughout the game. Save it for the boss battles.
Second Floor[edit]
Return to the second floor after taking the handgun and go to 208.
Apartment 208[edit]
Apartment 208 is a bit different from last time you were here. There will be a dead body next to the TV. You can investigate it to play a short cut scene. On the book shelf to the left of the dead body is the Key to Room 202. Guess where we're headed next.
Apartment 202[edit]
Enter Apartment 202 and pick up the Health Drink in the kitchen. Go into the bedroom to find a hole in the wall. Investigate the hole to find the Clock Key.
Apartment 208[edit]
Now that you have the Clock Key, you can solve the puzzle in Apartment 208's bedroom.
There is writing on the side of the clock that says, 'The scars from the past shall remove the nail that stops Time.' After reading it, it will ask if you want to push the clock. The clock's face is stopped at different times. The face plate will be locked, preventing you from moving the needles.
After obtaining the Clock Key from room 202, you must find the proper time to display on the clock so that it will move and allow you passage into the next area of the apartment building.
Look at the wall on the opposite side of the room for a hint at the correct time. Sketched into the wall are three arrows, similar to hands on a clock, and three names: Henry, Mildred, and Scott. These names are all code for Hours, Minutes, and Seconds. Simply convert the arrows into a time.
Examine the clock, then use the key from your inventory menu. You'll open the faceplate, allowing you to change the time. Change the time to 9:10:15 and you'll hear a click. Close the faceplate and read the side of the clock to push it away.
Behind the clock is a hole to the next Apartment.
Apartment 209[edit]
Grab the Health Drink in the kitchen and save your game at the Save Square Sheepdog dogz 5 download torrent. on the small table nearby.
When you're done, exit out the front door and head up the stairwell to the third floor. On the way up, you'll find a box or two of Handgun Bullets.
Third Floor[edit]
Like the other floors, there will be many Straight Jacket and Mannequin monsters walking about. Pay attention to your Radio.
Apartment 307[edit]
Enter Apartment 307 to start a cut scene. When it finishes, look back in the closet for the Courtyard Key.
Hall Way[edit]
Walk back out to the hall and head towards the Laundry Room. Now that you're on this side of the gate, you can pick up the Fire Escape Key off the floor. Check inside the Laundry Room for a box of Handgun Bullets.
Apartment 303[edit]
Apartment 303 contains a First-Aid Kit in the living room, a box of Handgun Bullets in one of the bedrooms on a bed, and a Health Drink in the kitchen.
When you're done, head to the East end of the hall and go through the door at the end. Take the stairs down to the first floor.
Eastern Entrance (1st Floor)[edit]
Go to the back door and grab the pack of Canned Juice. Exit out the front door and enter the other front door to the West.
Before going up to the second floor, head to the back door on the first floor and use the Courtyard Key.
Courtyard[edit]
Walk into the Courtyard to find the community pool. Inside the pool is a baby carriage and three Straight Jackets. Jump into the pool and investigate the carriage to find the Coin-Snake.
First Floor East Side[edit]
Before going back to the main entrance, check out the four apartments on the East Side (101-104). Be prepared for more Straight Jackets inside.
Apartment 101[edit]
Enter the bathroom door to start a cut scene with your new friend Eddie. After the scene, look for a box of Handgun Bullets in the living room.
Apartment 104[edit]
104 doesn't have much to offer. Inside is a box of Handgun Bullets guarded by a Straight Jacket.
After this floor is taken care of, head up to the second floor. You can either go up the stairwell at the end of this area, or go back to the main area stair case.
Second Floor[edit]
Walk to the second floor laundry room and investigate the trash chute. If you remember, there was trash lodged in here. Use the Canned Juice to clear out the garbage.
Head outside and look inside the trash heap for the Coin-Old Man.
Go back up to the second floor and walk to the end of the Western Hall. This is the door you can use the Fire Escape Key on. It will allow you to move to the Blue Creek Apartments

Music Box Puzzle
Easy
In each slot the same thing is written:
'When the Lost One is returned the sour note shall turn sweet' No real puzzle here; just put the 3 Music Boxes in random slots. The quote from above just tells you what will happen after you insert the three music boxes. Normal
Here, you will have to put the boxes in specific places. When you examine the empty slots, you'll find readings that describe which Music Box goes in which slot, and the order below is from left to right.
'Seat of the Princess who fled at midnight.' 'Seat of the Princess who awoke from death.' 'Seat of the Princess who spoke no words.' This is a rather easy puzzle, especially if you have basic knowledge of Cinderella, Snow White, and the Little Mermaid. Cinderella was the one who fled at midnight, and she also left a shoe. So the 'Cinderella' Music Box goes in the left slot. Who awoke from death? That would be Snow White. After she ate the poisoned apple from the Queen, she died, and the Prince resurrected her. So the 'Snow White' Music Box goes in the front slot. And lastly, we have the Little Mermaid. But to make sure she belongs in the last spot, does the sentence match her? Yes, she gave up her voice so she could marry the Prince. So put the 'Little Mermaid' Music Box in the right slot. Had/Extra
On Hard it's a little different. The rectangular identification slots have more detail, but at the same time are harder to recognize the character. The order is from left to right below.
'Twas shameful greed did stain her shoe with blood.' 'Even so, I still want to believe that she was happy.' 'Beauty - Both a blessing and a curse thou be.' Let's look at the first one. The word 'shoe' sort of gives it away. But the part about the blood refers to the original 'Cinderella'. You may or may not remember about the blood because there are apparently over 3000 versions of 'Cinderella'. Anyway, in the original, Cinderella ultimately goes to the party with the curfew and loses her shoe. The Prince then sets out to find out whose it was by making women try the shoe on to see if it fits. When he comes to the home where Cinderella is, with her stepmother and her two daughters, the stepmother hacks the first sister's big toe off for the slipper to fit. It does and she leaves with the prince, but some birds cry out: 'Look! Look! There's blood in the shoe! The shoe's too small! The right bride is still at home.' So the prince goes back and the stepmother hacks off the heel of the second sister to make the slipper fit, but the birds warn the prince again. So he goes back and Cinderella tries on the slipper and it fits, since it's hers. So what the sentence means is: 'Twas shameful the stepmother's greed for the prince's riches did stain Cinderella's shoe with the sisters' blood.' Pretty long sentence but that's what it means. So place the 'Cinderella' Music Box in the left slot. The second sentence refers to the Little Mermaid. She had the finest voice of all mermaids and better than all humans. But once she saw the prince she fell in love. She gave her voice away so she could at least have a chance of being with the prince, becoming a mute. She ultimately did and that's what the sentence is referring to. 'Even though she's a mute, I still want to believe that she was happy.' So put the 'Little Mermaid' Music Box in the front slot. The last sentence refers to Snow White and how beautiful she was. She was so beautiful that she was the 'fairest of them all' so the Queen tried various attempts to kill her. For one attempt, she gave Snow White a poisoned apple, which she ate and died from. A prince came along and took her corpse, then later he resurrected her. Thus being so, the Queen ultimately did kill her so she could be the 'fairest of them all'. 'Beauty - A blessing to everyone around her yet a curse to her as the Queen wanted to kill her.' So put the 'Snow White' Music Box in the right slot. Once the music boxes are in their correct locations, play the music box and it will play correctly. The music boxes will turn to the inside of the large music box on a turntable and three more music boxes will be revealed, with a key on the one in the middle. If the music boxes aren't in their correct spots, the music will play unpleasantly.
What would a Silent Hill game be without Puzzles? These Puzzles have become an integral part of the series, allowing fans of riddles to test out their brain power. Most Puzzles and Riddles must be solved in order to progress in the game, but some are completely optional.
Silent Hill 2 boasts four different puzzle difficulties! The hardest difficulty will become available after beating the game on each of the other three difficulties. Hard Difficulty will then be up’d to a new level.

The Safe is a small puzzle in Silent Hill 2. You’ll find the safe in the first room you enter in the Blue Creek Apartments.
To open the safe, you’ll need the code. Investigate the clogged toilet in the bathroom and pull out the clog. You’ll find a wallet with the combination.
The safe contains Handgun Bullets x4. That’s 40 bullets for the Handgun!

The Coin Puzzle is a Puzzle found in Silent Hill 2. More specifically, you can find it in Room 105 of the Blue Creek Apartments.
In order to solve this puzzle, you must find three coins in the Blue Creek Apartments and the Wood Side Apartments. They are the Coin [Prisoner], Coin [Old Man], and Coin [Snake]. Once obtaining all three, you must place them in the right slots to unlock the dresser.
The Coin Puzzle Dresser has an inscription on the side. The inscription will tell you the way you have to place the three coins in the five slots. Examining the coins will help to place them.
Unlock the dresser and you will get Lyne House Key.

The Door Code is a small puzzle in Silent Hill 2. While investigating the Brookhaven Hospital, you’ll notice the third floor patient wing hall is locked with an electronic keypad. The code is somewhere in the building.
In order to find the code, you’ll need the Examination Room Key. This key is found in the Men’s Locker Room on the Second Floor. Grab the key and open the Examination Room on the first floor. Walk through the room and enter the back door to the Doctor’s Lounge. Inside the Doctor’s Lounge is a Whiteboard with the code. Investigate the Whiteboard to find the Door Code written on it.

The number written on the whiteboard isn’t the exact code, but a riddle to the code.
The pin number this month is “T”. Last month it was “X” and before that it was “Z.” but what are they going to do next month? That’s all they can express with 4 Numbers.
By this we know it is a 4 Number code in the shape of a T.

The Box Puzzle is a a puzzle in Silent Hill 2 that involves a heavily locked box in the Brookhaven Hospital. This box is located on the Third Floor in room S14.
To open the box, you’ll need four things:
Greenville south carolina airport. The Lapis Eye Key is located on the second floor of the Brookhaven Hospital, in room M2.
The code found on the “Imprint on Carbon Paper” is obtained by investigating a type writer on the second floor of the Brookhaven Hospital, in Examining Room 3.
The “Tern tern tern the numbers” code is found written in blood in a padded cell, located in the Special Treatment Wing. You can only access the Special Treatment Wing after using the Roof Key to investigate on the roof of the Brookhaven Hospital. Investigate the diary and go back to the door. A short cut scene will play and you’ll wind up in the Special Treatment Wing. The Note says, “Tern tern tern the numbers, better not forget them. So I’ll right them down here. The other one, my secret name.”
The Purple Bull Key is located on the first floor of Brookhaven Hospital, in the Document Room. Find it by reading the note pad.
After opening the box, you’ll find a Piece of Hair.

Trick or Treat is a questionnaire-type puzzle in Silent Hill 2. You’ll come across it after Finding Maria and taking the elevator down from the Third floor.
In the elevator, you will hear this announcer come on and ask you to input your answers in the Third Floor Storeroom. Enter the Storeroom to find a strange box with nine buttons on top. These nine buttons will be the answers to the questions asked earlier. The left side indicates the question, and the top indicated the answers.

The Rotating Head is a puzzle in Silent Hill 2. It can be found while navigating The Labyrinth.
Though daunting at first, it can be simple after a little thought. The Rotating Head controls through room next to it. Rotate the head to rotate the room. The objective is to get one door near the puzzle and one door at the opposite end of the room.
Solution
Press UP, UP, and LEFT to rotate the room to the correct position.
Hanged Man is a puzzle in Silent Hill 2. You will find it after defeating Abstract Daddy.
This puzzle is divided into two parts. The first room will have six stuffed bodies with a note on their face. Examine each one to discover their respective crimes and make a note of their positions as they will be random. Their crimes can be any of the following:
The second room will have six nooses hanging from the ceiling in the same order as the bodies from the first. Two signs will be next to the door. They first will give you a poem depending on the riddle difficulty. You need to figure out who the innocent man is based on this poem. The second sign tells you this:
“Notice! Pull ye balance on a rope’s frayed end. Go and return and the error be mended. Beware ye though the punishment sended.
Only the sinless one can help you here. Mistakenly pull on a criminal’s rope and your reward will be returned to you in a shape most wondrously strange.”
Once you’ve figured out who the innocent man is, go to the noose that corresponds to his position in the first room and give it a tug. Return to the first room to find the Key of the Persecuted where the innocent man’s body once hung.

The Briefcase Code is a small puzzle in Silent Hill 2. You’ll find a locked Briefcase in room 202 of the Lake View Hotel. In order to open this, you’ll need to do a few steps.
With all these steps done, you can get to the Briefcase. The Briefcase will be on the floor of room 202. Investigate it to see the code input at the front.
The code will be in one of the pictures that’s laying on the bed. Use the Thinner to remove the black X on the picture and reveal the code. Input the code to open the Briefcase.
The codes seem to be randomly generated. Just use the thinner on the picture to find the code to the suitcase.
The Music Box Puzzle is a puzzle in Silent Hill 2. You can find it in the Lake View Hotel.
After finding all three music boxes:
You must place them in their rightful spots on the big Music Box, located in the Lobby. There will be three indentations with an engraving next to each. Read the descriptions to figure out which box goes where. You will need to know your stories in order to solve this puzzle — or read below for the solutions.
After setting all three in the correct spots, play the music box. The piece that holds all the music boxes will rotate in a circle. Investigate the front music box to claim the Hotel Stairway Key.

The Tombstone Puzzle is a Puzzle found in Born From A Wish. While in the Baldwin Mansion, you’ll climb a ladder through the fireplace and find a Tombstone with a square depression and a key. Investigate it to find a small riddle.
“Along with you died joy.
All that remains is despair and a future of meaningless tomorrows.
But I will never give up.
One, to see your beautiful smile again. One, to beg the blessings of the Gods. I wait for that day.
When the boards cover all
All sadness too will be covered, But until my dreams return to reality I will have to swallow all the pain.”
The objective is to cover the green area of the tombstone with the three Boards you found throughout the Mansion. The Red and Black Board will be near the tombstone, while the White Board will be in a hall way on the second floor. As you can tell by examining them, each board has a few holes in them, making it a bit difficult to fully cover the green area of the tombstone.
The first board must go in right side up. You won’t have a choice to move it. The second and third boards can be inserted as is, turned 90 degrees clockwise, turned 180 degrees, or turned 90 degrees counter clockwise. If you get it wrong, you can remove as many boards as you like.
SOLUTION
Silent Hill 2 Clock Puzzle
The holes in each board are best thought as a 4 x 4 layout. If a board had nothing but holes, there would be 16 holes. This may make it easier to figure out the puzzle in your head before placing the boards.
Place the Red Board on the Tombstone first, then the Black Board on 90 degrees clockwise (to the right), and lastly the White Board 90 degrees clockwise (to the right).
The Acacia Key will pop out of the Tombstone for Maria.
